Heavyocity Oblivion Drums

Heavyocity Oblivion Drums – Hybrid Drums for Metal, Industrial & Beyond

Drums Engineered to Sound Dangerous

Metal, industrial, dark electronic, trailer music — every one of these genres lives or dies on drums that sound larger than life. Heavyocity Oblivion Drums was built for exactly that. Developed with composer David Levy (DOOM Eternal) as the percussive companion to the Oblivion aggression designer, it combines ruthlessly recorded acoustic drums with mangled electronic layers and Heavyocity’s scorched-earth sound design. 30,361 samples. 864 sources. 12.6 GB of pure impact. This is not a polite drum library — it is a weapon.

The Three Engines

Kit Designer is your drum kit: 16 voices, each with 6 round robins and dynamic layering, in four switchable flavors. Hyper for tight, modern punch. Monster for low-end devastation. Electro for processed, synthetic violence. Obscene for when you want it to sound broken in the best possible way. Load up 18 kicks, 28 snares, 16 hi-hats, 36 toms and percussion, 24 cymbals, 111 reverses, and 86 impacts and dives.

Ensemble Designer is your wall of sound: 360 layered drum and scoring sources in a virtual mixer with 3D stage positioning and 5 mic positions. Stack taikos, toms, and metal until the room shakes, then hit the Punish knob and let Heavyocity’s signature destruction do the rest.

Loop Designer is your accelerator: 3 banks of 12 tempo-synced loops with mix-and-match low/mid/high stems — 216 core loops, 216 experimental loops, 72 rhythmic pulses, and designer keys for building full percussive arrangements fast.

Who It’s For

Metal and hardcore producers who need kicks and snares that cut through walls of guitars. Industrial and dark-electronic artists building rhythms from noise and impact. Drummers programming realistic parts without a live room. Sound designers crafting game and film percussion. If your music demands drums that hit like a sledgehammer, Oblivion Drums delivers.

Ready for Your Heaviest Mixes

Everything in Oblivion Drums was designed to survive the densest mixes. The kicks are tuned to cut through down-tuned guitars, the snares crack through walls of distortion, and the cymbals shimmer without turning to mush. 12.6 GB of content in NI lossless compression means the depth is there without eating your whole drive, and full NKS 2.0 integration puts every preset and parameter at your fingertips on Komplete Kontrol and Maschine hardware. Whether you’re tracking a full band, producing electronic metal, or building trailer-style intros for your records, these drums stay clear, present, and absolutely brutal.
