In The Mix Bassmaker

What Is Bassmaker?

Bassmaker, from In The Mix, is a sub-synthesis plugin that automatically creates deep, powerful bass for tracks that need support. It reinforces weak low-end or generates bass for sounds that lack it entirely, and it stays in tune while doing so: the generated layer can lock to a specific note, hold a fixed frequency, or pitch-track the incoming audio with a customisable detection system. It is a perpetual licence with 3 activations and lifetime free updates — no subscription.

Engine by Engine

• Fundamental Bass Generator — the core engine creates bass you can feel as well as hear, supporting or replacing the source’s low end.
• SUB 1 and SUB 2 — two sub generators with independent gain and envelope (attack/decay on SUB 1; width and smooth controls on SUB 2) for layered, precise low-frequency design.
• Deep, extended low-end — locked to frequency or note for precise tuning, with a precision focus range that targets a chosen section of the incoming signal.
• Pitch-tracked sub reinforcement — generates a solid sub that follows the pitch of the source inside a user-defined range, including lower-octave support for vocals, basses, guitars and synths.
• TONE — tube and tape modelled saturation adds character and distortion after generation, and increases bass presence on smaller speakers.
• STABILISE — a smart low-end spectral compressor that stabilises unsteady and weak bass in both the incoming and generated signals.

Processing ranges from subtle reinforcement to strong bass replacement, with customisable smoothing, detection and quality modes for any signal or genre.
