What Is the Maniac Audio Bundle?

The Maniac Audio Bundle is the complete collection from Maniac Audio: 23 Dark Series plugins for mixing and mastering, covering compressors, EQs, reverb, delay, limiting, gating, preamp saturation and microphone modelling. All 23 were built from scratch in modern C++ with high-quality oversampled DSP, transformer modelling and a consistent dark interface, for Mac (10.14+) and Windows (10+) in VST3 and AU formats.

• Dark76 — 1176-style FET compressor, four revision modes, fast and punchy, with sidechain and output EQ.
• Dark2A — LA-2A-style tube optical leveller: Gain + Peak Reduction, nothing else needed.
• Dark3A — LA-3A-style solid-state optical leveller, faster and brighter.
• DarkVar — Variable-mu tube bus compressor with true dual-mono and comp/limit modes.
• DarkComp — Mix-bus optical compressor on a T4B opto core, classic/modern detectors.
